9/11: Thoughts on the Science behind the 'Official Truth'

by Christopher Barr

The most difficult subject can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of doubt, what is laid before him.”       - Leo Tolstoy

Despite all the varying theories behind the Twin Towers collapsing, Building 7 (7 hours later), the Pentagon and the crash of Flight 93, who did it and why, the one thing that can’t be overlooked or distorted to suit a specific agenda is the laws of physics.  Something happened that day and it only happened one way.  I’m going to stick to the flow of information in the aftermath and the physics of the events and discuss the who and why, the Pentagon and Flight 93 later in follow up articles.

Sir Isaac Newton’s (1642-1727) Three Laws of Motion are as follows:

First Law: An object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion remains in motion at constant speed and in a straight line unless acted on by an unbalanced force.

This first law is often referred to as The Law of Inertia, which is the tendency of all objects to resist change in their motion.  The larger the mass, the more it resists change.

Second Law: The acceleration of an object depends on the mass of the object and the amount of force applied.

Momentum = Mass × velocity: since the second law says an unbalanced force causes acceleration, which is a change in velocity, then force also changes momentum.

Third Law: When one body exerts a force on a second body, the second body simultaneously exerts a force equal in magnitude and opposite in direction to that of the first body.

Action Force requires Reaction Force to work together as one is forced down the other forces back up; the mutual actions of two bodies upon each other are always equal, and directed to contrary parts.

Many things happened that day but here are the key events and the timeline.

8:46 am – American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into floors 93-99 of the North Tower of the World Trade Center, killing all passengers on board the plane and many within the building on its initial impact.

9:03 am – United Airlines Flight 175 crashed into floors 75-85 of WTC’s South Tower, killing all the passengers on the flight and many in the impact area of the explosion.

9:37 am – Flight 77 crashed into the western façade of the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., killing the 59 aboard the plane and 125 military and civilian personnel inside the building.

09:59 am – The South Tower of the World Trade Center collapses.

10:07 am – Flight 93 crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, killing all 40 passengers and crew aboard.

10:28 am – The North Tower of the World Trade Center collapses.

5:20 pm – The 47-story Building 7 of the World Trade Center collapses after burning for hours on a couple of the lower floors.  The building had been evacuated in the morning, and there were no casualties.

For every action there must be an equal and opposite reaction.  The mass of the top half of both twin towers fell into the base halves, creating what has come to be known officially as ‘the pancake effect’.  Either Newton’s third law has somehow defied the laws of physics (the first in recorded history) that morning or the action of high powered thermite explosions produced the equal/opposite reaction of the steel and concrete dust, causing the towers to both fall at near free fall speeds.

When building 7 collapsed with zero resistance during its descent, it also fell at free fall speed.  It certainly seems odd explaining what is obvious upon viewing the footage but it still stands as the official story, that building 7 collapsed due to a couple of fires in the lower levels of the building.  Only two buildings in the history of fire, when involving skyscraper buildings, has this occurred.   The north and south tower of the World Trade Centre just hours prior.  I think people should observe this oddity, not as patriotic citizens of a country or enemies of the state, but as curious individuals that have just witnessed a horrible magic trick and are above such bamboozlement. (Idealism I know.)

Without taking sides and pointing fingers, watch the footage below and apply Newton’s laws of motion to it.  That might not give you the definitive answer you might be looking for but I would argue that the who involved in bringing down the towers and building 7, which I might add that the latter was not even hit by a plane, should not be confused with the science of the event itself.

Often in the media, these catastrophic events are showered in finger pointing and the unfortunate loss of life.   What is plainly there in front of your eyes and your powers of deduction is somehow clouded over and left up to the very people that have a vested interested in the deception in the first place.

The problem is the thinking is being done for us.  We, as individuals, are told elaborate stories of enemies that want to kill us and bring harm to the way of life we have come accustom to.  We are told by government leaders and their media disseminators to trust them and to get on board with their decisions without question.  By doing so, we have lost our own powers of investigative curiosity.  We seem to be too distracted with being told the story lines and denouements of movies and TV shows, that we have lost the us in that equation.  We have the power within us, providing a healthy educational foundation, to question what we think the truth is, even if the authorities encourage us not to.

Please make a comment below if you have any other explanations that exist within the laws of physics and/or add to the above article.
